The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was held on a grand scale last night at a new Dome close to the Accra International Conference Center.

In what many analyst described as the most competitive year for the VGMAs favourites Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy, Medikal and Shatta Wale were the top winners on the night filled with excitement, cheers and some few surprises
Among some of the highlight of the night was King Promise winning the Songwriter Of The Year, Stonebwoy winning Reggae/Dancehall Act of the year, Medikal winning the rapper and Hiplife/Hiphop artist of the year awards.
Efya for the 5th time won the Female Vocalist Of The Year award.
Kuami Eugene lead with 3 awards, whiles Medikal, Stonebwoy and Guiltybeatz followed with two awards each
Sarkodie has won 22 awards in the records of Ghana Music Awards, making him the most awarded musician in the history of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
