Richie Mensah, who is contesting for the vice-presidential position of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has confidently stated that the association is lacking communication.
He said this in an interview with Spice FM’s Kwame Offei on Ofie Ne Fie, when asked to outline some problems he thinks MUSIGA is facing
“MUSIGA is lacking communication. It is not getting the needed support from Ghanaians”, he said.
According to him, Obour actually did his best, just that he did not get the needed support. He needed financial support, effective cooperation which is sharing of ideas.
He went further to say that, he’s realize that problem, and would establish clear communication policies. Also with experience, he knows what can get Ghana music going.
He also said that, ghanaian musicians will only make it internationally forever as a giant network, just like the Nigerians have done.
“And I’ll do that when given the chance”, he concluded.
